		abstract={The purpose of this research was to improve students' speaking skills through the show and tell method in class IV SD Muhammadiyah 2 Limboto theme 2 always save energy sub-theme 1 energy sources. The type of research used in this study was classroom action research with 18 class IV students at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Limboto using data collection techniques using observation, performance, and documentation. The research was conducted in two cycles. The results of the research on the initial observation that were completed amounted to 5 students 28%. After the action in cycle I increased to 12 students who completed 67%, of which 6 students or 33% had not completed. Implementation of cycle II which was completed increased by 15 students or 83% and which had not been completed by 3 students or 17%. Thus it can be concluded that through the show and tell method can improve students' speaking skills in class IV SD Muhammadiyah 2 Limboto theme 2 always save energy sub-theme 1 energy sources.}
