		abstract={Newborn care is a nursing care for infants during recovery from birth until discharge from the hospital. The objective of research was to find out how independent primiparous mothers are at an early age after applying the M-BC approach. The research design uses qualitative methods. With the type of case study. The results showed a lack of understanding and independence of mothers and families in caring for newborns.
