		abstract={Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that is still a global concern. This disease can attack various organs, especially the lungs, the purpose of research was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the use of personal protective equipment with the anxiety of nurses in handling TB patients in RSUD Prof. Dr. Aloei saboe, Gorontalo city. The research used a descriptive design with a cross-sectional design. Sampling by total sampling with a total sample of 30 respondents. The statistical analysis used the Chi-Square test. The results showed there were 26 nurses' knowledge in the good category and 4 people with sufficient knowledge, and the use of PPE used 27 people and did not use 3 people, and 10 people with severe anxiety, 5 people with moderate anxiety, 15 people with mild anxiety. Based on the results of 30 respondents using the chi-square test, the value of p = 0.03 <0.05, then Ha is accepted, thus it can be concluded there is a significant influence between the use of PPE and the anxiety of nurses who treat TB patients. Conclusion, there is a relationship between the level of use of PPE and anxiety in nurses in treating pulmonary TB patients.}
