		abstract={Psychologically, the problem most often experienced by patients undergoing hemodialysis is resilience. Resilience is a factor that plays an important role for individuals to be able to survive in overcoming a problem. This study aims to determine the relationship between coping mechanisms and resilience in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis at Toto Kabila Hospital. This research is an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional approach. The population and sample of the study were 32 patients undergoing hemodialysis. Data collection used a questionnaire sheet and was analyzed using the chi square statistical test. The results of the study found that there was a significant or significant relationship between coping mechanisms and resilience in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis at Toto Kabila Hospital with a p value of 0.017 (p value <? 0.05). It is recommended that nurses in providing services to hemodialysis patients can carry out nursing interventions that can be coping mechanisms and resilience}
