		abstract={Patient safety is the concept of patients who are in health services can achieve the expected impact. Patient safety in terms of injury is defined as being free from accidental injury which is guaranted as patient safety through the establishment of an operational system, minimizing the possibility of errors, and increasing prevention therefore accidents do not occur in the service process. The research design used an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique was carried out using the total sampling method with 35 respondents. The data collection used a questionnaire. Based on the research results of 31 respondents (88.6%), respondents with a good level of knowledge there were 20 respondents (64.5%) with a good level of patient safety implementation and 11 respondents (35.5%) with a poor level of patient safety. Respondents with less knowledge level were 4 respondents (100%) with a low level of application of patient safety. It can be concluded there is a relationship between the level of knowledge of applying patient safety for nurses and the level of application of patient safety for nurses at Otanaha Hospital, Gorontalo City.}
