This Experimental animal was used 20 male Rats (Rattus norvegicus) divided into several treatments control K(+), K(-), and treatments groups P1, P2, and P3 with doses of extract of cinnamon bark: 250;500;1000 mg/Kg BW with a total five rats in each treatment group with an average body weight of 170 gram. Extract of Cinnamon bark was giving before a formalin, and delivered by orally. Histopathology of the gastric fundus, like damage to mucosal integrity and the number of inflammatory infiltration cells, was seen as a result of this study. The study results showed that formalin caused damage to the gastric fundus mucosa and the infiltration of inflammatory cells. The most severe injury is in group K(+) 2,50 ± 0,38 and infiltration of inflammatory cell 1,45 ± 0,37. Given the extract of cinnamon bark with a multilevel dose reduced the damage to mucosal integrity and decreased the number of inflammatory cells. The lowest mucosal integrity is in the P3 group; it is 0,70 ±0,38, which had almost the same value as the K(-) group. Similarly, the mean value in the P3 group had the lowest number of infiltration of inflammatory cells 0,45 ±0,10. In conclusion, the cinnamon bark extract has an improvement effect on the histopathology of gastric fundus induced by formalin.} }
