Namely research that directly looks at the phenomenon of certain communities, groups or institutions that bring the Qur'an to life on a daily basis. Based on the interpretation of Tafsir scholars regarding the verses or practices of reciting the Al-Qur'an related to the tahajud prayer. As well as recording the implementation of the tahajud prayer at PP Hamalatul Qur'an, and how the asatidz, Imams and students understand this practice. Based on the results of this research, it shows that: 1) The tahajud prayer at PP Hamalatul Qur'an is carried out in congregation with maqro' ½ juz every night and the reading of bil-jahr is listened to by the congregation so that within a duration of 60 days this practice is carried out on at 03:00 WIB. 2) From the understanding of the students and administrators of PP Hamalatul Qur'an, the tahajjud prayer activity is a mandatory program and one of the habits in PP Hamalatul Qur'an to speed up memorization and improve memorization in accordance with the rules. 3) According to the Imam and Islamic Boarding School caretaker, this tradition, apart from continuing the tradition of its pioneering tradition, is a combination of physical and spiritual efforts in achieving personal approach to Allah SWT, including in particular efforts to bring the Word of God to life to the maximum.
