On the other hand, land use around the Jiken River watershed has also changed due to rapid population growth and urban development and economic development. For this reason, a study was carried out on the relationship between land use and the increase in discharge that occurred in the Jiken River watershed. The Kali Jiken watershed has a catchment area of 16.59 km2 and a river length of 17.41 km. The highest elevation upstream of this river is 700 m above sea level. The data required in the form of rainfall data, land use and topography. The hourly rainfall intensity was obtained from the data of the maximum daily annual rainfall at the stations of Bareng, Mojowarno, Rejoagung, Selorejo which were transformed using the Polygon Thiessen formula. Meanwhile, to calculate the planned flood discharge, the Rational method is used. The results showed that changes in land use resulted in the value of the coefficient of flow (C) being greater so that the resulting discharge became even greater, the value of rain intensity also affected the results of the calculation of flood discharge. Flood discharge increased in the 100-year return period from 222.52 m3/s to 244.13 m3/s and changes in the total sedimentation rate from 7,827,517 tons/ha/year to 4,290.555 tons/ha/year. Land use in the Jiken River watershed changed from 2017 to 2019. The area of residential land increased from 354.96 ha to 599.26 ha, Plantation from 328.78 ha to 386.39 ha, Agriculture from 299.13 ha to 644.19 ha.} }
