The attention given by parents also increases children's learning motivation when highly educated parents will indirectly provide understanding to learn because parents always provide understanding to children. After all, education is very important for future life. This study aims to determine the relationship between Parental Education Literacy and Learning Motivation of Class XI MA Umar Zahid Perak Jombang Students.
This study uses a quantitative approach. The population of this research is
100 students. The sampling method used is in the form of a proportional sample (balanced sample), which is a sample taken in a balanced manner with the number of groups in each population. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this study is a statistical analysis technique, which aims to determine and measure the relationship between two variables
The results of this study conclude that there is a significant positive relationship between parental educational literacy (X) and motivation to learn Islamic education (Y), the correlation index number of 0.887, which ranges from 0.700 to 0.900, is considered a strong or high relationship. This means that the results of the study indicate that there is a significant relationship between parental educational literacy and motivation to learn Islamic religious education for class XI students of MA Umar Zahid Perak Jombang, who obtained a percentage of 62%.
