Da'il Falach Mubarok, 2022, Efforts of Al-Qur'an Hadith Teachers in increasing 
interest in reading the Qur'an at MTs Al-Hikmah Klitih Plandaan Jombang for the 
Academic Year of 2022-2023. Study Program of Islamic Education, Faculty of 
Islamic Religion, University of Darul 'Ulum Jombang.
This thesis discusses the interest in reading the Qur'an in class VIII 
students of MTs Al-Hikmah Klitih Plandaan Jombang for the Academic Year of 
2022-2023. This study aims to determine the efforts of Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers 
at MTs Al-Hikmah Klitih Plandaan Jombang in increasing interest in learning the 
Qur'an.
The research in this thesis is a qualitative descriptive field research which 
is taken randomly as a sample. Data collection techniques used are observation 
notes, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis uses qualitative 
descriptive analysis techniques with data reduction steps, data presentation, and 
data verification or drawing conclusions
The results of this study indicate that the efforts made by Al-Qur'an Hadith 
teachers in increasing interest in reading the Qur'an by means of discussion, 
memorization, question and answer how to discuss, memorization, question and 
answer and the habit of reading the Qur'an and practice writing. . Interest in 
reading the Qur'an of class VIII students is still relatively high because almost all 
students are enthusiastic and enthusiastic in reading the Qur'an even though some 
are at a moderate level. The average ability of class VIII students is still some 
students who are low in reading the Qur'an.
