		abstract={The purpose of this legal writing is to find out the regulation of pedophilia criminal acts in Indonesia that can provide legal protection to victims of pedophilia crimes in Indonesia and to find out the forms or efforts of protection for victims of pedophilia crimes in Indonesia. The type of research used by the author in this legal writing is normative legal research. The type of data used is secondary data with data collection techniques used is library research, namely in the form of secondary data collection that has a relationship with the problem under study and classified according to cataloging. After all the data has been collected, it is then analyzed using qualitative data analysis methods.
Pedophilia is an act committed by adults against children in sexual terms, because of the satisfaction when having sexual relations with children. Even though the law already regulates these criminal acts, namely by using Article 290 of the Criminal Code and Law Number 35 of 2014 in conjunction with Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection. There is also the formulation of the problem in this study 1. What are the forms of legal protection for children who are victims of pedophilic sexual crimes? 2. What are the sanctions against perpetrators of criminal acts of pedophilia according to Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection?
Based on the results of the study, the forms of legal protection for victims of pedophilia crime (1) legal protection according to Law Number 31 of 2014 concerning Child Protection. (2) Legal protection based on Article 5 to Article 7 of Law Number 13 of 2006 concerning Protection of Witnesses and Victims which regulates what rights are owned by witnesses and victims, (3) Legal Protection of Children's Rights according to Human Rights and the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Sanctions Against Pedophile Criminal Act Actors according to Articles 81 and 82 of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection.
