@thesis{thesis, author={Muhamad Rizal Ardiansyah Rzal}, title ={ANALYSIS OF THE CAPACITY OF THE 70 ROLAK RESERVOIR AS FLOOD CONTROL IN KALI KONTO}, year={2022}, url={http://repository.undar.ac.id/id/eprint/2528/}, abstract={A river is a channel or container of water in the form of a water drainage network in it starting from the upstream to the estuary. Konto River is one of the tributaries of the Brantas River with a river length of 70 km and a watershed area of 370 km². for the river to function properly, it is necessary to pay attention to the management of natural resources in the entire watershed (DAS). Konto River flows along Pujon District, Malang Regency, and Ngantang District, Kediri Regency, which is an area with a category that is prone to deforestation, prone to landslides, and is also prone to flooding. As an alternative to solving the problem if such a thing happens is to use the rolak 70 reservoirs as one of the flood controllers in the Konto River. This study was conducted to analyze the capacity of the rolak 70 reservoirs as an alternative to flood control at Konto River with data collection methods including channel cross-section measurement data, topographic maps, Automatic Water Level Recorded (AWLR) data, and reservoir measurement data and continued with data processing which includes calculation of flow coefficient, calculation of maximum discharge capacity of an existing channel, and calculation of reservoir capacitance. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is an overcapacity of the river of 147,744 m and the available capacity of the existing reservoir is 1,560,301 m³. So there is still a reservoir capacity of 1,412,560 m. So that the reservoir of Rolak 70 as a flood controller in Kali Konto is still very capable and very possible to be used as one of the flood controllers in Kali Konto.} }
