		abstract={The rapid development of technology and information today has provided many benefits in progress in various aspects. Technological developments in the business world also affect people's business interests, technology can be used to find out how big the type of business is developing in accordance with the passion that is in demand by the community, based on data on the type of business that was started early in the business. Then using the help of data mining, the Decision Tree Algorithm & Rapid Miner tools, it will be possible to predict the percentage of types of businesses that can easily develop as consideration in starting a business in an area according to the interests of the community. The results of the research in detail will provide information about the type of business that is developing and is considered quite tempting to develop the business later.
