		abstract={The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between caregivers' social support and the self-confidence of orphaned children. The subjects of this study were 55 orphanage children aged 12-21 years. The research method uses a quantitative approach. The number of samples was taken based on purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire and google form. Testing the validity and reliability of the instrument, normality test, linearity test and hypothesis testing were processed with the help of SPSS 25. For windows.
Based on the analysis of the Pearson Product Moment correlation test, the correlation coefficient value = 0.438 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). This shows that there is a positive relationship between the caregiver's social support and the self-confidence of the orphanage child, meaning that the higher the caregiver's social support, the higher the orphan's self-confidence and vice versa, the lower the caregiver's social support, the lower the orphan's self-confidence.
