Because not all students have good self-confidence, there must be students who feel that they do not have good self-confidence so that they feel unconfident to ask a question, let alone to express an opinion about a material that has been studied in class, feel inferior, afraid of being wrong, and afraid of not being valued. The type of design used in this study is Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. In the two groups, both pre-test and post-test were carried out. However, only the experimental group was given treatment. In this study, the population was students of Class XII TKJ SMK Roudhotus Nasyi'in Mojokerto. The data collection method in this study is the Likert Scale. The Likert scale is a scale that can be used to measure a person's attitude, opinion and perception of a particular object or phenomenon. This study used a questionnaire in the form of a likert scale. to collect data on self-confidence. The bullet points of the statement in the instrument are an illustration of self-confidence. Based on the results of research from the group counseling process to increase self-confidence in students. With the initial average score of the posttest results of learners who fall into the medium to low category. The experimental group had an average score of pretest and posttest results of 222 < 226. After being given treatment in the form of group counseling using cognitive dispute techniques and assertive training. The results of the pretest and posttest were analyzed using a paired sample t test, to determine the difference between before and after treatment in paired samples, the average value of the experimental group was 221.60. Then after being given a treatment, the posttest value of this experiment group increased to 276.40. So it can be concluded that group counseling using cognitive dipute techniques and assertive training is quite effective to increase the level of self-confidence of students at SMK Roudhotun Nasyi'in.} }
