ABSTRACT

The number of conflicts in the household occur due to the lack of preparation of the prospective couple, leading to divorce which leads to divorce. For individuals who are stable and can control their emotions will be able to solve their problems wisely. Based on the data report of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in the Statistical Yearbook Center for Statistics (BPS) in the Statistical Yearbook of Indonesia in 2023,there has been an increase in the divorce rate in the last three years. The thing the background of married couples to decide to divorce are frequent disputes and continuous arguments. Sample in This study is part of the population, namely early adult women with the age range of 21-30 years who are not yet divorced.with an age range of 21-30 years who are not married, totaling 70 people. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive random sampling. Based on the results of the Karl Pearson correlation analysis shows that the correlation coefficient value rxy is 0.500 with Sig. 0.000 (0.05), meaning that there is a significant positive relationship between emotional maturity and marriage readiness in early adulthood. emotional maturity with marriage readiness in early adulthood, meaning that the higher the higher the emotional maturity, the higher the readiness to marry, while the lower the emotional maturity, the lower the readiness to marry. the lower the emotional maturity, the lower the marriage readiness
