Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan Penerapan Pendidikan Karakter Berbasis Nilai-nilai Agama di Sekolah Dasar Negeri No. 84 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan dalam Penelitian ini adalah  deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus.

Hasil penelitian penerapan pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai agama  dapat diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran pada setiap mata pelajaran. Materi pembelajaran yang berkaitan dengan norma atau nilai-nilai pada setiap mata pelajaran dikembangkan dan dikaitkan dengan konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Dalam penerapan pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai agama ada 5 nilai karakter yang di terapkan di sekolah dasar tersebut meliputi: a) nilai religius, b) kejujuran, c) kedisplinan, d) hormat dan santun, dan e) tanggung jawab. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan Penerapan Pendidikan Karakter Berbasis Nilai-nilai Agama di Sekolah Dasar Negeri No.84 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo belum diterapkan secara keseluruhan.

ABSTRACT

Study Program of Elementary School Teacher Education, Faculty of Educational, State University of Gorontalo. Principal Supervisor is Dr. Yusuf Jafar, M.Pd and Co-Supervisor is Nurhayati Tine, S.Pd.I, M.HI.

This study aimed at describing the implementation of religion based character education at SDN No. 84 Kota Tengah, Gorontalo City. The Method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with the case study approach.

The result of this study can be integrated to teaching process in each subject of study. Learning material should be related to the norm or value and integrated to the context of the daily life activity. There are feve implementation value whichh can be integrated in that school are; a) Religion value, b) Honesty, c) Discipline, d) Respect and Grace, and e) Responsibility. It can be concluded that the implementation of this research has not been implemented overall.
