Creating and delivering the task of English in the classroom needs to be efforts of teacher in designing it in terms of attracting students' motivation in learning English in that to get good outcomes. These efforts must be passing some processes to further steps. This study aims to determine the teacher's performance in delivering English task in the classroom and the students' perception toward teacher's performance in delivering the task. The data were obtained through classroom observation and open-ended questionnaires and it were analyzed through coding step in terms of examining closely and carefully before coming to the display step. The result indicates that teacher's performance in delivering English tasks during learning process using Willis' theory (Task based learning) that consists of pre-task, task cycle and language focus. It showed that the teacher did not use timing in pre-task, language adviser in task cycle and language focus as the last stage. All students were satisfied about the teacher's performance in delivering English tasks. They only suggested that teacher should pay attention to determine the timing of task.
