The change in land use function from open land to residential land causes the air catchment area in residential areas to decrease, causing air and flooding. This research was conducted with the aim of developing the existing waterways on the north coast highway, West Cikarang sub-district, Bekasi district at this time. The simulation method used in evaluating the performance of the EPA SWMM 5.1 water channel using current channel data, researchers can find out the channel planning needed to overcome problems and flooding. The results of running EPA SWMM 5.1 obtained 8 points that experienced flooding in the northern coast highway drainage channel (research location), namely on channels J7, J8, J9, J18, J19, J21, J22, and J23. Based on the results of running EPA SWMM 5.1, it was found a way to overcome the problem of inundation and flooding. Namely, by adding to the height of the channel, the highest added value occurred at point J22 of 0.31 m. By adding to the height of the overflowing channel, the results of running EPA SWMM 5.1 no longer show overflow in each additional channel.
