		abstract={The purpose of this study is to analyze the religious characters contained in the animated film Riko The Series and describe their relevance to Islamic Religious Education in aspects of aqidah, worship aspects, and moral/character aspects, as well as their relevance to Core Competencies in the subject of Islamic Religious Education and Budi Character at the elementary and middle school levels. This study uses library research and focuses on studying religious characters in the animated film Riko The Series. The analysis technique used is content analysis.

The results showed that the religious characters in the animated film Riko The Series are (a) obedient to religious teachings, (b) please help, (c) tolerance, and (d) self-confidence. The relevance of the religious character of the animated film Riko The Series in Islamic Religious Education includes 2 main parts, namely those relating to three aspects of the teachings of Islamic Religious Education, namely aspects of faith, aspects of worship, and aspects of morals/character. Then it relates to Core Competencies 1 and 2 in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education at the elementary and junior high school levels. So that the animated film Riko The Series can be a medium for learning Islamic Religious Education and Morals for elementary and junior high school levels.}
