		abstract={This research is motivated by the development of the tourism sector which prioritizes the preservation and diversity of culture and natural beauty which is the concept of tourism. Currently, one of the branches of tourism activities that is developing or growing very rapidly is ecotourism which has great potential for sustainable development and is here to gain profits and opportunities in the tourism market by providing an attractive tour, providing cultural diversity, and providing income for residents. locally without impeding the environment. This study aims to analyze the strategy of the Bekasi Regency Tourism Office in managing Sunge Jingkem ecotourism, analyze what factors are the obstacles in developing Sunge Jingkem ecotourism, and analyze community participation in managing the ecotourism potential of Sunge Jingkem. This research uses constructivism paradigm by applying qualitative research methods. The data acquisition technique used literature study, observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informant recruitment technique used purposive sampling technique, as well as data analysis techniques with data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and data coding. The results of the study stated that the management of Sunge Jingkem ecotourism was managed collaboratively involving several parties. The strategy carried out by the Bekasi Regency Tourism Office has been implemented properly including the development of sustainable resources and human resources in it, besides that there is no policy or regulation on ecotourism Sunge Jingkem only limited to the plan contained in the Regent's Regulation regarding the determination of tourism areas. And community participation in managing ecotourism potential participates in protecting the environment and conserving nature around the area, with participation that can be beneficial for the surrounding community and there are opportunities for entrepreneurship.
