Based on the results of the analysis, problems were obtained with the discovery of grade I students who were not precise and fluent when reading. This can be seen when students have difficulty sounding letters, syllables, and simple sentences. This problem can be solved by using the Synthetic Analytical Structural (SAS) method. The type of research method used in this study is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The research was conducted by collecting and evaluating related research on the focus of the topic. The data sources used in this study are journals related to the use of the Synthetic Analytical Structural (SAS) method for reading the beginning of grade I elementary school students. This study used 20 journals as research material with inclusion criteria including research journals published in the last 10 years (2012-2022), research objects of State Elementary Schools (SDN), research subjects for grade I students, Class Action Research methods (PTK), and journals that can be accessed or downloaded. The media that can be used as a tool in the use of the Structural Analytical Synthetic (SAS) method are picture HVS media, image cards and letter cards. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, the researcher recommends that an effective and appropriate media used in the use of the Synthetic Analytical Structural (SAS) method for grade I elementary school students is illustrated HVS media. This is said to be because the implementation is in accordance with the cognitive abilities of students, preliminary reading theory and the theory of synthetoic analytical structural (SAS) methods with the support of maximum research results. Researchers also suggest paying attention to the steps used for grade I elementary students.} }
