At that age, children can take part in education both at school and elsewhere. In participating in learning, children at that age have been introduced to various kinds of animals, one of which is poultry. In learning, children are introduced to various types of poultry such as chickens, ducks, geese, and so on. The media used in introducing various kinds of poultry are picture books that can only display 2D model objects. Augmented reality technology can be used as a medium that can help learning in introducing examples of poultry animals by adding 3-dimensional objects on top of the media, such as books. The multimedia development methodology used is the Luther-Sutopo development model, namely the Multimedia Development life cycle (MDLC). Where this method consists of 6 stages, namely concept, design, collecting material, assembly, testing, and distribution. The result of this study is an application for introducing poultry animals that was built using Augmented Reality technology that runs on a smartphone. This poultry identification application is made interactively by using marker tools to display objects in 3-dimensional form and display information and so that early childhood children are interested or enthusiastic in teaching and learning activities. The conclusion of this study is that the teaching and learning activities required by 77.44% of respondents to this application are very feasible. Where several questions related to this AR application have given good answers. This is evidenced by the various tests that the author has done on the application where the tester is the author and the end user.} }
