		abstract={A reservation system is typically an agreement process where products or services are ordered but not yet closed with a sale and purchase transaction. During the reservation process, there is an exchange of information between the product owner and the consumers which aims to create an understanding of the product or service to be ordered. Utopic Seminyak is an accommodation service which is located in a strategic location in Bali and was established in 2015. My research identified several obstacles with the reservation system at Utopic Seminyak including: no independent computerized reservation system; an outdated, manual reporting system. Therefore, a reservation system enhanced with technology would provide more practical, time-efficient services. 
In connection with these problems, an efficient system that can support reservation activities at Utopic was identified in order to provide a service that can facilitate consumers in the reservation process. In this project, the author aimed to create a web application system for the hotel reservation system at Utopic, where the application can provide real-time data features so that the reservation process can be handled quickly and efficiently.
The design of this application utilized the waterfall methodology, which is a system development method that begins with the analysis phase, followed by the design and implementation of the application, and finally testing of the application. The application system was developed using the programming languages PHP, MySQL, NodeJS and Javascript.
The success of this system is that it runs well and can provide information in real-time both for visitors and administrators. As a result, the reservation system is optimized, and consumers will have a positive experience when making reservations at Utopic Seminyak.}
