Almost all activities carried out by humans take advantage of technological developments. One example is in the field of education. Sometimes a teacher does direct practice by providing an overview of a real event to students. However the use of technology has not been fully evenly owned by each school, esepecially in elementary schools. Currently the delivery of global warming material to grade 5 students at SD Negeri 7 Mataram has not been fully maximized, this is due to the unavailability of media facilities for the learning process that can be used by educators when delivering material about the enviroment and global warming. Therefore, in this final project built an android based application by utilizing augmented reality technology which can lead to a picture of computer animation in the real world. The AR application using a webcam (webcamera) will then provide a marker that has been made and will later take the real world as a basis and combine several virtual technologies and add contextual data so that user understanding is clearler. The application was built using the Luther-Sutopo version of the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) metodh with 6 stages that is concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing and distribution. In this study, validation and application feasibility test were conducted based on testing of 23 respondents (5th grades elementary school students and teachers) using questionnaires. Based on the result of the questionnaire analysis to accompany the learning process. This is application considered usefull because everything contained in the application is easy to use and can run well so that it can provide information accurately when used by educators and students.
