		abstract={Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan self-compassion dengan self-esteem pada mahasiswa organisasi Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan alat ukur psikologi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Self-Compassion Scale oleh Kristin Neff (2003) dan Self-Esteem Scale oleh Rosenberg (1965). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat self-compassion dan self-esteem pada 159 responden dalam penelitian didominasi oleh kategori tinggi. Hasil nilai koefisien korelasi r = 0,623 dan nilai p = 0,000 sehingga hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima, yaitu terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara self-compassion dengan self-esteem pada mahasiswa organisasi Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa di Universitas Negeri Jakarta.

This study was aimed at finding out the correlation between self-compassion and the self-esteem of students who are part of the Student Executive Board in State University of Jakarta. This study used a quantitative research method using psychological test instruments. The instruments used in this study were the Self-Compassion Scale by Kristin Neff (2003) and the Self-Esteem Scale by Rosenberg (1965). The results of this study indicated that the levels of self-compassion and self-esteem shown by the 159 respondents were mostly categorized as high. the correlation coefficient values were r = 0,623 and p = 0,000 which means that the hypothesis proposed for this study is acceptable. It revealed a significant correlation between self-compassion and the self-esteem of students who are part of the Student Executive Board of Univeritas Negeri Jakarta.}
