		abstract={This study aims to investigate the students? perception toward Translation Subject in the relation to the use of translation tools. The study is conducted because most of students in college use translation tools and it can help them in learning process. This study used a quantitative design which is collected by closed-ended and open-ended questions in questionnaire. The samplings of the research were 6th semester students of English Study Program who passed study Translation Practice subject. There are 18 questions asked in closed-ended questions and 4 questions in open-ended questions. Researcher used PSPP Software in analysed the closed-ended questions and data coding for the open ended questions. Based on data analysis result, students have learned the methods or startegies in translating, like equivalence from source to target language and understanding the culture of the source and target language. It also showed that there are flaws in translation by the students which is could help by the translation tools and which is not. Not only that, the result stated the benefit and lack of the translation tools and also the benefit of the Translation Subject that brings students in their perception towards the subject. The result of this study could become consideration to the study program and Translation Subject?s teachers to help them in evaluate the learning process.}
