	The Objective of research was to find out the eight year students? perception toward English remedial program at a junior high school. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. The population was the eight year students? in SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. There are fifty six students from class A and B in SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. 
	The method that was used in this research was descriptive. The instrument of the research was questionnaire. In obtaining the data, the questionnaire was used in the form of close questions. The data was analyzed by using percentage formula and average one. Percentage formula was used to analyzed the data from Remedial Program that consist of purpose, method, media and learning resources, time and place and Evaluation. 
	Based on the data analysis, the researcher found that in general, the eight year students? perception of Remedial Program was in good category. Specifically, the students? perception toward purpose of Remedial program in good category (39,28%), the students? perception toward method of Remedial program in good category (37.5%), 
the students? perception toward media and learning resources of Remedial program in medium category (51.8%), the students? perception toward time of Remedial program in the low category (41.7%), the students? perception toward evaluation of Remedial program in good category (46.42%). In conclusion, Most of the eight year students? of SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi have good response toward purpose, method, media and learning resources, time and evaluation of Remedial program.}
