This study aims to find the syntactic structures in The Jakarta Post Features and the types of sentences that exist in 2 editions of The Jakarta Post Features, May 4 and June 22, 2018. This research is conducted by Qualitative in descriptive research design. Throughout two editions, the writer found that all of the syntactic structures; structure of modification, structure of predication, structure of complementation, and structure of coordination, is appear in the text. The most appear in two editions of The Jakarta Post Features is structure of modification, because it also occurs in other structure, as subject or predicate in structure of predication, and as a verb element or complement in structure of complementation. Structure of complementation, mostly found with transitive as verbal element and the complement is subjective complement. Structure of coordination mostly found in almost all of the sentences from two editions, and occur in other structures. From all of the structure that found in two editions the writer concludes that the types of sentence that exist in two editions are simple sentence, compound sentence, and complex sentence. From the finding of the structure of coordination, it is also concluded that mostly the sentences in The Jakarta Post Features are complex sentence.
