One of the effects of climate change is flood which is one of the negative effects of global warming. One of the adaptation methods that can be used in dealing with the flood problems is innovation in order to adapt the flood risk such as constructing an amphibious house. The concept of structure is to keep the structure remain on the ground at dry weather and float on the water during the flood, the structure of the house is supported by 6 pontoons. The research method is to measure the draft of the pontoon and analyze the influence of structural load to the pontoon buoyancy force for the calculation of pontoon stability. The pontoons are made of aluminum and dimension is (20 × 16 × 10) cm for each pontoon. The measured load is 140,283 N and the measured maximum buoyancy is 144,213 N. The experimental results show that the pontoon buoyancy force is greater than the structural load so that the structure can float on the water. In addition to the influence of force, the value of the stability of the pontoon is also calculated by analyzing measured GM values. GM is the distance between the weight of the structure and the metacentric point. If the GM value obtained is positive, it is concluded that the structure floats stably above the water surface. GM analysis is reviewed on the rotation axis y and x, symbolized in GMy and GMx. The minimum GM value is taken with the aim of getting the lowest value of stability. The measured minimum GMy value is 0.223 m and the measured minimum GMx value is 0.113 m. In conclusion: the stability of the y-axis of rotation is greater than the stability of the x-axis of rotation.} }
