		abstract={Hospital is an institution that provides health services for the society with its special characteristics that are influenced by the development of health knowledge, advances in technology, and the society social economic life. It has to keep being capable of improving its services. This study aims to determine whether the application of the elements of the internal control system of drug supplies in the general hospital in Sekayu has been implemented effectively or not. The research method used is interviews and observations so that they are directed in accordance with the theories used by accounting experts. This study used descriptive qualitative method.
The results of the study show thet the implementation of the internal control system for the management of drug supplies in public hospitals in the Sekayu area has been effective.}
