Chili is a vegetable that is often consumed by the community and is known to contain pesticides. This is related to the process of spraying pesticides on chili. The study aims to analyze the environmental health risks of lead content in chili consumed by the people of Lubuk Pungguk village, Jangkat district, Jambi Province. The research is descriptive using the Environmental Health Risk Analysis (ARKL) method. The sample of respondents in this study amounted to 96 people who were divided into 7 groups for each chili plantation. Ampelous s is taken by purposive sampling. Chili samples were tested in the laboratory and then analyzed using the AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometery) method of the Shimadzu AA-7000 brand to determine the Pb content in chili. Data analyzed using the Environmental Health Risk Analysis (ARKL) method showed an average Pb concentration in chili peppers of 0.84 43 mg / kg, average real time noncarcinogenic intake of 0.59131972 mg / kg, average lifetime carcinogenic intake of 0.16799992 mg / kg, obtained values the average. Realtime RQ was 147.8299301 mg/kg and the average ECR Lifetime value was 7.056E-3. It was concluded that the result of this study was that the RQ value and ECR value had exceeded the threshold and risk management was necessary. The average risk management calculation for noncarcinogenic safe consumption is 0.30460284 gr/day while for carcinogenic safe consumption is 1. 02490166 gr/day.} }
