The results of this study indicate that the Leadership of Female Village Heads in Increasing Community Participation uses 3 types of leadership, namely: (1) Charismatic leadership type, (2) Laissez faire leadership type, (3) Democratic leadership type, although it is not as perfect as expected by the community because there are still some criteria from several aspects that have not been met such as: (1) Paternalistic, (2) Militaristic, (3) Autocratic, (4) Populistic (5) Administrative. This research shows that the leadership type of the Female Village Head in terms of the leader can be said to be good in carrying out his duties and responsibilities as a leader or as the head of Sungai Pinang Village, Muara Lakitan Subdistrict, Musi Rawas Regency, although it is not as perfect as expected by the community itself, and in general the types applied are charismatic, laissez faire, democratic leadership types. The factors that cause the community to participate less are because the village head of Sungai Pinang still uses the laissez faire leadership type (ignorant) coupled with not fulfilling the indicators of the administrative leadership type, namely leadership that carries out administrative tasks effectively and there are technological developments in Sungai Pinang village.
