Joint pain is a common problem experienced by the elderly, especially after performing daily activities. the purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between physical activity and body mass index with the intensity of joint pain in the elderly. This is a quantitative correlation study with a cross-sectional research design. The population consisted of 80 respondents. Sampling was done using total sampling technique, making the entire population research sample. the results of bivariate analysis using Spearman?s rho test obtained a physical activity value (p-value 0.000) and a correlation coefficient value (r 0.558) and a body mass index (p-value = 0.000) and correlation coefficient (r 0.464) which can be stated that there is a significant relationship between physical activity and body mass index with the intensity of joint pain in the elderly. The results of this study indicate that respondents who have moderate and heavy physical activity as well as a body mass index above normal experience an increase in the intensity of joint pain. It is recommended to engage in physical activity according to the body?s ability and maintain a healthy diet and weight to avoid joint diseases that can cause pain.} }
