Accidents are affected by human, technical, environmental and airplane facilities so the need for aviation safety is needed especially the flight safety behavior of airplane passengers. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards passenger flight safety behavior. The study design used was cross sectional. The subjects of this study were passengers in the waiting room and at least 1 flight with a sample size of 75 respondents. Data analysis performed was univariate and bivariate with chi-square statistical test. As many as 53.3% of respondents have good flight safety behavior especially in paying attention to demonstrations, listening to safety announcements as well as using the means of safety provided. As many as 58.7% of respondents had high knowledge about aspects of aviation safety but 41.3% of respondents still had low knowledge, especially about when to switch off the mobile phone and about when to pump the life jacket, this was because the respondents were not clearly informed by the flight attendant. As many as 50.7% of respondents have an attitude that supports the importance of aviation safety aspects, the availability of aviation safety facilities and the importance of the role of aviation officers because respondents feel that this is very important in ensuring flight safety. The results of the bivariate analysis show that there is no relationship between knowledge and safety behavior that can be due to the presence of other factors that have a more dominant influence such as facilities and flight officers. Attitudes have a relationship with safety behavior this is because attitudes are perceptions that give rise to a mindset that can influence actions. Respondents have high knowledge and also show a supportive attitude towards the importance of aviation safety but respondents who have high knowledge do not arrive in the domain of implementing safety behavior. Suggestions for flight officers to make visual videos in the plane's waiting room regarding demonstration of flight safety and how to evacuate during an emergency because not all airlines have video screens on planes.} }
