The main ingredient of vegetable protein sources in fish feed formulations is soybean meal. However, the availability of soybean meal is still dependent on imports, so that efforts are needed to develop feed made from alternative raw materials that are easily available, with a relatively low price and has a nutritional content that suits the needs of fish. One of the alternative ingredients that can be used in making feed is peanut meal. The aim of this research is to determine the percentage of the best peanut meal in the feed formulation for catfish and the percentage of peanut meal substitutes soybean meal 30% in the feed formulation for catfish. This research was conducted at the Fisheries Basic Laboratory, Aquaculture Study Program, Department of Fisheries, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, on September-October 2022. Research design used a completely randomized design with five treatments and three replications. The treatments given was the various percentage of soybean meal and peanut meal in feed formulation for pangasius catfish, including 30%:0% (P0), 22.5%:7.5% (P1), 15%:15% (P2), 7.5%:22.5% (P3) and 0%:30% (P4). The results showed that P1 was the best treatment with weight growth of 1.53 g, length growth of 1.30 cm, specific growth rate of 1.69% day-1, protein efficiency ratio of 1.44, feed efficiency of 33.21%, survival rate 98.96%. The water quality in P1 temperature range from 25.5-29.6ÂșC, pH 5.6-7.3, dissolved oxygen 3.58-4.50 mg L-1, and ammonia 0.017-0.070 mg L-1.} }
