The method used is the Taguchi method. Matrix used ortohogonal array is L9. Parameters of the process, namely the composition 90Al-5FA-5Al2O3, 85Al-10FA-5Al2O3, 80Al-15FA-5Al2O3, the time required is 1, 2, and 3 minutes, speed mixers 400, 500 and 700 rpm, and the temperature stirring 700, 750 and 800°C. These parameters in shatters and then be done with the casting wheel. Toughness analysis performed using charpy impact testing. From the results of this study concluded thatcontribute a percentage value error of 26.68%, which means that all significant factors in the process of experimentation is enough (terms Taguchi method for contributions ? 50% ).} }
