Nanofibers obtained through the electrospinning method were characterized using a microscope in the form of morphology, FTIR in the form of chemical bonding elements, mechanical tests in the form of tensile strength, and antibacterial in the form of disc diffusion method. The resulting PVP/CA/EDB/EDS nanofibers were brownish green with a fiber diameter of 702.9 nm. FTIR analysis states that there is an interaction of molecular particles between polymers and extracts in producing compounds and chemical groups. PVP/CA/EDB/EDS nanofibers have elastic properties and is not easily torn with a tensile strength of 6.28 MPa and a modulus of elasticity of 353.5 MPa. High inhibitory activity also occurs in PVP/CA/EDB/EDS nanofibers due to the addition of extracts containing bioactive compounds as antioxidants and antimicrobials. The results of the analysis show that PVP/CA/EDB/EDS nanofibers are well used in textiles and biomedicine, especially as modern wound dressings.} }
