In Indonesia, C. dimidiatus has been known as as a pest of forest products and pineapple. In some research, the insect has also been reported to attack beans. This research was aimed at knowing the preference of C.dimidiatus to four bean species. The research was conducted in the Laboratory of Biological Control, Department of Plant Pests and Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya Universityfrom 17 January to 14 February 2019. The research was arranged in a Completely Randomized Deign (CRD) with 4 treatments and 6 replications.
