		abstract={Jesus associates intimately with sinners in a banquet at Levi’s house. He shows His loving solidarity with them, who are rejected by the people of Israel at that time.  In the banquet, Jesus makes sinners feel accepted by God.
He releases them from inferiority, embarrassed and guilty before God and neighbors. They are not punished anymore because God has forgiven them. By this, Jesus invites
peoples to have an universal solidarity, not exclusive solidarity, where men are accepted without exception. He rejects the type of solidarity that is judgmental
and exclusive. When He receives sinners to a banquet, He actually shows that God hates sin indeed but he doesn’t hate the sinner. His love is bestowed to all universally.}
