Yanmar Diesel Medan merupakan perusahaan yang menyediakan berbagai macam alat-alat pertanian. Saat ini, Yanmar Diesel Medan masih menggunakan sistem manual yakni penjualan secara offline dimana proses pemesanan serta pembayaran harus dilakukan secara konvensional dengan mendatangi perusahaan terlebih dahulu.
Dikarenakan permasalahan tersebut, maka perlu dikembangkan sebuah sistem informasi penjualan sparepart mesin rumput berbasis website yang dapat mengubah cara konvensional atau offline tersebut menjadi terkomputerisasi. Melalui sistem informasi web ini maka seluruh proses bisnis dari perusahaan menjadi online dan dapat dilakukan dimanapun saja.
Hasil penelitian berupa dibangunnya sebuah sistem informasi penjualan sparepart mesin rumput berbasis web penjualan obat yang memudahkan pengguna dalam melakukan pemesanan produk tanpa perlu mendatangi perusahaan terlebih dahulu. Proses pembayaran juga dapat dilakukan di rumah saja tanpa perlu mendatangi perusahaan. /
