		abstract={The purpose of this study was to find out the types and the meanings of
person deixis in business articles of the Jakarta Post. This research was a
qualitative descriptive study. This research the focussed to analyzing the person
deixis that found in business articles of the Jakarta Post. Object of this research
was  business articles of the Jakarta Post. Result of this research was  98 person
deixis found in the articles, and 14  person deixis did not found in the articles.
The result was: First person deixis (I) was found 14 items, second person deixis
(You)  was found 7 items, third person  deixis (She) was  items found 37, (He)
was found 136 items, (It) was found 103 items, total of the third person was 276
items.}
