		abstract={The purpose of this research was to find out the students? mastery of
quantifiers in the eighth grade of SMPN 6 Rambah. The participant of this
research was eighth-grade students of SMPN 6 Rambah consisting of 43 students.
There are 21 students in class A and 22 students are class B. Then the researcher
used a total sampling technique.
This research was descriptive quantitative research. The researcher
analyzes the students' test results by checking their mastery in choosing
quantifiers test correctly. This research was done with some steps: collecting the
data, analyzing the data, making a conclusion, and reporting.
Based on the data analysis the research result showed that 14 students are
in the very good category, with a percentage is 33%. Most of the 28 students are
in good categories, with a percentage of 65%. 1 student is in the enough category,
with a percentage of 2%, and there is no student in the less and poor category. The
mean score of individual students' mastery in quantifiers was 78,70. It was
concluded that the level of students? mastery of quantifiers is at a good level. The
highest quantifier type in this research is "uncountable noun" with a mean score of
83.00 and a percentage of 35% percent.}
