Abstract :
Sumatran interconnection system from Aceh to Lampung. At this very moment this system is physically connected through 150 KV network. Some of the distribution system was designed for 275 KV. However, they are still operating within the voltage value of 150 KV. The System in Aceh is divided into 2, which are east coast and west coast. The one that is interconnected is only the east coast area while other wast coast area and central Aceh along with its islands are still supplied by Diesel Power Electricity Generator through 20 KV electrical system. The total capacity of the power plant in Aceh amounts to 490 MW, in while its peak load amounts to 540 MW. Furthermore, to this very moment Aceh still needs to receive powers from the system of Northern Sumatra. This thesis will be concerned with how the role of system of Aceh in the next 5 years as a part of interconection system in Northern Sumatra. This will include the analysis of whether Aceh will be a system that takes power and energy or as the power and energy supplier to other system. This also aims at how the loads flow within the system of Aceh, this load flow analysis will be concerned with the flow of load in transmition systems and the occuring voltage profile.
