Abstract :
The need for electricity for industry, offices, as well as the general public and individuals is greatly improved. However, the increase in electricity demand is not accompanied by the addition of electricity supply. Based on these problems, solar energy is selected as an alternative energy to generate electrical energy. The tool used here is solar cells, because it can directly convert solar radiation into electrical energy (photovoltaic process). In order for solar energy to be used at night, then during the day the electrical energy generated is stored first to the battery that is controlled by the regulator. The output of the regulator is directly connected to DC loads. From the measurments of designed PLTS, it produces a nominal voltage of 12 V and a maximum power of.60W.
