Abstract :
Buildings which have many rooms that full of workers and important documents have to get a proper protection. It does not just need the thievery protection, but the fire protection needs to be considered, too. Fire itself can be caused by electrical short circuit or reckless electronic installation. This project would make a prototype system of fire protection, which is able to work both manually and automatically based on PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Omron CPM2A and sensor. Prototype would work automatically whenever smoke and fire were detected by the sensor, then it would activate water pump and turned off the electricity, including turned on the emergency lamp as initial evacuation steps. In manual mode, the system would work by pressing the emergency button. This mode was made in case that the sensor worked less-effectively, and fire indication has already identified before the sensor had detected.
