Abstract :
The distribution of electricity from power plants to load centers requires the transmission line. The distance between plants to load centers depending on the length of the transmission line used. The longer the transmission line is used, the losses increase and causing the energy to the load centers is reduced. On transmission lines that are not transposed have great losses energy because of the induction of the phase conductor. Therefore, the transmission line should be transposed to reduce the energy losses. In this essay will calculate energy losses in transmission lines that are not transposed of rupiah compared with the cost of installation of towers transposition. Transposition of tower installation requires greater costs compared with normal tower, so that it can be compared with the difference in energy losses that occur.
