Abstract :
Reliability of generating capacity is defined as a rapprochement between the installed generation capacity to the load requirements. If the load requirements exceeds the load capacity of the plant, will result in the ?loss of load? or available capacity no longer able to cope with the load that must be served, which resulted that the system becomes unreliable. The method used to determine the reliability index of a generation system is LOLP (loss of load probability). To determine the level of reliability of the generation system in Lombok, this paper discuss about the reliability analysis of generation system by reviewing the form of the performance of the operation, maintenance, probability value of each plant's inability to supply the load, and possible loss of load calculation method using LOLP calculation using FOR in each generating units. However, only limited to the Thermal power plant in Lombok's generating system.
