Abstract :
Electrical energy in sufficient quantities with good quality very necessary for life. To convert mechanical energy into electrical energy needed a generator electric. Along the rapid advancement of technology the world, more electricity generator developed as a permanent magnet generator that will be discussed in this thesis. The purpose of this study was to perform optimization analysis on the total of windings axial flux permanent magnet generator, either through experiments or simulations. Generator consists of two rotors and one stator, which used wind power generator at P2F LIPI. Simulations using software Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and Finite Element Method Magnetic. Simulations carried out by changing the independent variable, which is a total of windings and coils on the stator. Total of the coil and windings is proportional to the output voltage. More the number of windings, the output voltage will be greater. So are the number of coils, more the number of coils, the output voltage will be greater. At the total windings is 100 and the wind speed at 7 m/s, voltage generator is 38,848 Volts. Meanwhile, the total winding is 300, the voltage is 116,644 volts. When the total coil is 6, and the wind speed at 7 m/s, voltage is 38.8 volts. Meanwhile, when the total coil is 4 with the same wind speed, voltage is 25,898 Volt.
