Abstract :
Saguling hydro power plant is one of power plant in Indonesia capable of draining power with voltage up to 500kV and maintaining it while other power plants are blackout . Blackout occurs when of lost voltage happens for more than 2 minutes. The source of this incidents is mostly from the line side such as a tripped circuit breaker.The situation may create data loss, data corrupt or damage to equipment. In Saguling hydro power plantwhen lost of voltage or blackout happens, the emergency generator will automatically operate.when the system experiencing a blackout Saguling hydro power plant and Cirata power plant are trhe main supply to Suralaya steam power plant. This power needs to be instantly supplied to Suralaya steam power plant so that it can operate again within 45 minutes.
